Join us ... First Night Pro-Palestinian/Anti-Israel rally 6:45 PM in front of the Berklee Performance Center on Mass Ave. (Boston) , or come to the Palestine pre-rally convergence in Copley Square at 6 and walk over to Berklee with us.

On Saturday Dec 31, a group of Pro-Palestinian Anti-Zionist PEACE activists will be gathering outside the Berklee Performance Center from 6:45 PM til 8:45 to protest a concert sponsored by the Israeli Consulate. "Israel" is a racist state that was founded in 1948 in Palestine on land stolen from the Arab Palestinian people. 800,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes in 1948 in a brutal ethnic cleansing campaign.

To this day "Israel" rules all of Palestine with an apartheid system under which persons of Jewish religion or ethnicities from anywhere in the world are allowed to freely immigrate to Palestine where they enjoy political and economic rights that are denied to indigenous Arab Palestinians. The apartheid state of "Israel", with military and financial aid from the United States government, wages a continuing genocidal terrorist campaign to try to wipe out the Palestinian people or drive them all entirely out of their own country. It is important for real advocates for justice and human rights to speak out against Israeli apartheid and against Israeli state-terrorism. Events in Boston sponsored by the Israeli government are one place where we can protest and show the Israeli government and their supporters that we won't stand for their shit!

Before the protest we will gather in Copley Square at 6 PM at the Stop the Wars Coalition's First Night Against the War standout. We will leave soon after 6 to walk together over to the Berklee Center. Please join us in Copley Square at 6 or else meet us in front of the Berklee Performance Center on Mass Ave at 6:45. Bring pro-Palestine anti-Zionist signs, kaffiyeh's, and Palestinian flags or help hold ours.

Anti Wall Protest A Success

The Anti wall demonstration on Saturday the 24th of December at the Nativity scene on the Boston common was a success.

The protest got a lot of attention from public as well law inforcement in and out of uniform.

The peace protestors met at the Park street T stop At 1:00 during the regular anti-sanction/ anti-war vigil after which at 2pm, they walked to the Boston Common Nativity display and established a mock wall to educate people about the hardship it causes the residents of Bethlehem and Jerusalem for both Christian, Muslim and other who have lived in the same region for thousands of years. The day was beautiful with sunshine and the protest lasted until 4pm. Boston US: Anti wall demonstration Saturday the 24th Dec 2005

Anti wall demonstration on Saturday the 24th ofDecember at the Nativity scene on the Boston Common (Boston USA).

Peace loving people will be meeting at the Park street T stop At 1:00 during the regular anti-sanction/ anti-war vigil. Afterwards (2:00-4:00pm) we will move to the Nativity display (by the fountain near the T stop) and establish our mock wall to educate people about the hardship it causes the residents of Bethlehem andJerusalem both Christian, Muslim and other.

Due to construction of the wall the three wise men anda pregnant mother will be denied access to the mangerby an Israeli checkpoint. People will be able towitness first hand the racism of the occupation.

There will be a wall making session on Thursday in Newton (Boston) to construct each section out of foam board, paint them like cement and decorate them with sloganssuch as, the wall must fall, solider why did you killFadi?, Free Palestine, victory to the intifada, stopkilling Balata's children and what ever activists orspectators are inspired to write.

The little town where Jesus was born is the site of the Church of the Nativity, which is ablaze with flags and decorations every Christmas. In the Holy Land town of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, thousands of people rang in the holiday in Manger Square. On Christmas Eve natives and visitors alike crowd the church's doorways and stand on the roof to watch for the dramatic annual procession. Galloping horsemen and police mounted on Arabian horses lead the parade. They are followed by solitary horseman carrying a cross and sitting astride a coal-black steed. Then come the churchmen and government officials. The procession solemnly enters the doors and places an ancient effigy of the Holy Child in the church. Deep winding stairs lead to a grotto where visitors find a silver star marking the site of the birth of Jesus. Christian homes in Bethlehem are marked by a cross painted over the door and each home displays a homemade manger scene. A star is set up on a pole in the village square.
